Paramedic Matthew Michaud

Paramedic Matthew Michaud joined RPH Life safety Consultants, LLC in November of 2024.

Paramedic Michaud graduated from EMT class in 1993 and volunteered serving others until he began working full-time in emergency medical service in 1997. He has experience working in municipal, private, hospital, federal disaster, and fire-based services in New Hampshire and Massachusetts that have allowed him to develop sets of practical, and theoretical skills which are essential in performing effective emergency medical care, including CPR, Stop the Bleed, First Aid, as well as advanced clinical practices.

In his current role, Matthew is the clinical and education lead for the busiest ambulance service in New Hampshire. With his wealth of varied experience from the pre-hospital, hospital, pediatric critical care, and austere medical worlds it allows him to offer exceptional, and student-centered offerings. He has a passion for bringing medical education to life, making it more enjoyable, realistic, and practical, while helping people remain patient focused.

He creates a nurturing, comfortable, stress-free learning environment where learning is sometimes fun and easy. He simulates real-life situations as much as possible, offering plenty of hands-on instruction so his students can “practice as they play”.

Paramedic Michaud holds a Bachelor of Theology from Blessed Disciple Seminary, a Master of Theology from The New Seminary for Interfaith Studies and earned his Doctor of Theology from Providence Theological School in 2004. When not teaching all things pre-hospital medicine related, he provides care as an emergency service and hospice chaplain.
