Fire Chief Anthony Greeley (Retired)
Chief Anthony Greeley joined RPH Safety Consultants, LLC in April of 2022.
Chief Greeley retired in August of 2018 from the Norwood Fire Department (MA) after 33 years in the fire service. He began his career as an entry level Firefighter / EMT in 1985. He was promoted to Fire Lieutenant in 1993 and served 11 years as the Town of Norwood Fire Prevention Officer. After 20 years as a Company Officer and Fire Prevention Officer, in 2013 Chief Greeley was appointed Chief of Department. Strengths include: code compliance, Massachusetts Comprehensive Fire Code ( 527 CMR 1,00), MGL Chapter 148 Massachusetts Fire Laws, NFPA Standards and Life Safety Code 101, budgeting and communication skills.
Post retirement, Greeley became the Fire Safety Officer at Boston College in January 2019. There he handles many responsibilities, some of which include: Project plan review, NFPA 241 Impairment (Building Fire Safety Plan), permitting (hot work ), inspection of all buildings on campus, fire evacuation drills, event planning in large venues and overall campus fire safety consulting.
Overall, Chief Greeley brings over 37 years of Fire Safety experience to the RPH team. Greeley was educated at the University of Connecticut 1984. He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from the School of Business at UConn.
